Paper presentations, from reading to talk
Giving a talk on a paper? It runs in two stages, and moves on only when you do.
- UnderstandWhere the sample talk is
- Add the paper and its PDF, read it in passes, and keep highlights with their page numbers. Write notes, glossary terms and open questions as you go, then check you’re ready.
- Present
- Slides come from your own notes, never the other way round. Rehearse against the clock, prepare answers to the questions the class might ask, and take your speaker notes with you.
